52-year-old Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli is going to perform a free show in New York’s Central Park on September 15.
Bocelli is performing the show for PBS and he says it was a dream of his late father.
The famous Italian tenor will be performing with the New York Philharmonic and Westminster Symphonic Choir and together with the choirs special guests will be on hand to perform, although who will star alongside the tenor has not been revealed.
Titled as “Andrea Bocelli Live in Central Park”, the show will air on PBS on December 2 at 9 p.m and a CD of the concert along with available DVD’s will be available sometime in November.
Bocelli will perform in various U.S. cities including Washington, D.C. and Las Vegas after his Central Park concert.
