Demi Moore to Host and Report a CNN Documentary

“Nepal’s Stolen Children”, a documentary by the CNN Freedom Project will be hosted by actress Demi Moore and her husband Ashton Kutcher. The documentary exposes the sex trade of children in Nepal.
It was announced earlier this year that CNN was marshalling its global resources to take on human trafficking with the launch of ‘The CNN Freedom Project: Ending Modern-Day Slavery’.  Through this multi-platform initiative, CNN aims to expose the horrors of modern-day slavery, highlight the growing efforts to stop the trade and exploitation of human beings and amplify the voices of the victims.
In an interview, Moore talks about her commitment to sex trafficking and shares her experiences in Nepal and the relevance of this documentary. According to her, “the beauty of the community and witnessing not just what was a second chance for these women, but really - based on their cultural gender discrimination - a first opportunity at life. How they supported one another and really Anuradha (a survivor of human trading, who works with victims in Nepal to try and give them a new life) had created her own ecosystem that was this microcosm within Nepal operating in a full circle.”
'Nepal’s Stolen Children' will air on CNN/U.S. Sunday, June 26 at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. The one-hour documentary premieres on CNN International Sunday, June 26 at 8 p.m. local time, and replays Saturday, July 2 at 9 a.m., 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.; and Sunday, July 3 at 5 a.m. All times Eastern.
